Improving CPR Skill Acquisition and Retention through Technology Enhanced CPR Training

Abstract

This TDG proposal aims to bridge two major gaps in the teaching and learning of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). First, to blend the use of an app in the current curriculum in order to bring innovations to the “traditional” teaching and assessment of CPR that might not be providing enough motivation for students. Second, to address the inadequacies of existing apps on CPR in order that the new deliverable is more extensible and suitable for teaching as well as practical use.
