    Engineers Meet Teachers: an Interactive Multimedia e-Learning System for Cross-Discipline Teaching and Learning in Teacher and Engineer Education

    Abstract

    iMoot@hku is the webportal for the HKU Faculty of Law’s International Mooting Programme, one of the world’s leading international competitions programme for law students.

    Designed to be a one-stop shop for students to learn about the art and science of mooting, advocacy and client counselling, the online system also provides a forum for students, teaching staff and alumni to share experiences and strategies.

    The webportal also features:

    • an online library of written and multi-media resources on mooting and client counselling to promote self-learning and facilitate research;
    • profiles of current team members, Faculty coaches and alumni, many of whom are now prominent legal practitioners;
    • a wealth of photos, stories, history of achievements in international competitions and testimonials;
    • news updates regarding competition results, team members’ performances and future developments of the Faculty’s International Mooting Programme.
