Message from Teaching and Learning Quality Committee

Following the implementation of online SETL for all first- and second-year undergraduate and Common Core courses last year, the University will extend the online SETL arrangement to all undergraduate courses following the normal semester teaching schedule in 2014-15, while SETL will be administered in paper form for taught postgraduate courses. In this connection, the Social Sciences Research Centre (SSRC) will hold two briefing sessions on the implementation of SETL this year:

(1) Professor John Bacon-Shone, Director of SSRC, will present this briefing session, targeted primarily for teachers. He will give an overview of how SETL will be conducted in 2014-15, and, in particular, an illustration of the online SETL system and the process. Details are as follows:

(2) Ms. Linda Cho, Centre Manager of SSRC, will present this briefing session, targeted primarily for colleagues supporting the administration of SETL. She will give an overview of how SETL will be conducted in 2014-15 and explain the related work procedures for both paper and online SETL. Details are as follows:
