Professor Arner: Our EdX Fintech course has attracted over 130,000 participants from 218 countries or regions. This diverse cohort includes professionals from finance and technology sectors, students, as well as central banks and regulators.
Professor Arner: We aimed to spotlight the advancements in financial technology within China and share our region’s pioneering stories, rather than adopting a conventional Western perspective. By developing a comprehensive framework that integrates both academic insights and practical experiences, we enabled a wide audience to grasp the ongoing developments in fintech.
Professor Arner: Our future initiatives will likely focus on sustainable finance, AI finance, and emerging technologies. I believe in harnessing finance to support sustainable development, particularly by advancing transformative technologies in sectors such as energy, transport, and healthcare.
