Abstract
This project involved extensive investigation of Web 2.0 practices around the world (e.g., social bookmarking, social networking, blogging), and resulted in an educational technology system for support of sharing of resources and networking of students, staff and community. This system is titled “RISAL – Repository of Interactive Digital Assets for Learning.” The system can be effectively used to support formal and informal teaching and learning, connect individuals with similar interest, promote networking and collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
