Pathfinder Cambodia Education Project 2018

Since 2013, Pathfinder has sent over 200 HKU and CUHK students to Cambodia to engage in various voluntary projects, including construction, health education, and English teaching. This year, we are organizing a 2-week English teaching service trip to local schools in Cambodia.

Embark on a once-in-a-life-time volunteering experience to:

  1. Produce English teaching videos before departure
  2. Conduct English lessons in local primary and secondary schools
  3. Organize English Fun Day in community centres
  4. Visit local orphanages, hospitals, and villages
  5. Interact and work alongside with local university students in teaching activities
  6. Immerse yourself in the exotic Cambodian cultures in Siem Reap

Through our education program, we aim to:

  1. Increase Cambodians’ access to English education, in collaboration with local NGOs and universities
  2. Cultivate students’ interest in English learning and boost their confidence in speaking in English
  3. Bring in new ideas and knowledge to young people in the resource-deficient regions of Cambodia
