Eligibility and Financial Support

Who Should Apply?

We welcome applications from all full-time undergraduate students, regardless of their faculty, major, or year of study. We are looking for curious, motivated, and collaborative students who are eager to push their boundaries. Non-local students must obtain necessary travel documents (see Visa section).

Subsidy: Team LINK is committed to making this opportunity accessible. Major costs are covered through the generous support of MicroBit Holding Limited, which provides every participating student with a subsidy of HK$5,000. Additional support includes pre-trip workshops on cultural adaptation and safety. 

MicroBit Scholarship

The value of each MicroBit Scholarship is HK$10,000, which will be offered to high achievers, who demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities, collaboration, project execution and/or presentation skills, or other relevant accomplishments.

Eligibility:

• Students who are full-time undergraduate students of any discipline; and
• Have completed and passed the LINK course organized by the Horizons Office.
