Project List for Summer 2019
HKU faculty members have identified a list of projects appropriate for visiting students within the Laidlaw Programme to gain hands-on research experience on the campus of HKU. These projects will allow you to gain insights into a specific area with Asian perspectives, give you new inspirations through working with a dedicated team of researchers of a completely different background and culture, and enhance your CV and employability in future.

Research Periods
Visiting students are recommended to visit HKU during June to August for six weeks. The exact periods will be mutually agreed by both the student and supervisor.

Your application shall be submitted to HKU Horizons via your home institution. Please contact the respective administrator at your institution to obtain further details.

Once your application is accepted by HKU, the Horizons Office will guide you through the planning of your trip to Hong Kong. Information on visa application, accommodation reservation and getting around in Hong Kong will be provided.
